Martha Stewart Came to My House

I got the call in the morning. She said she'd be by at 1:00pm. 1:00 came and went. No Martha. So I headed off to run some errands. Lo and behold, she'd arrived while I had been out. Along with two AD/HD experts in the field! My house was in shambles. And I was horrified that I hadn't prepared better. I didn't know where to begin, so I sat down and chatted with my VERY interesting company. I knew I should be doing SOMETHING to make the house more accommodating, but...how? I was clueless.

Martha walked around the house, admiring various collections that I own, and graciously didn't say a thing about the clutter, or the lack of dinner plans. For that was the main reason she came- to have dinner at my home.

The dinner plans changed, and we drove to the swankiest hotel in town, where we'd enjoy a spectacular dinner. However, I again forgot to plan out the dinner details and now I had a chef AND Martha angry with me.

Thankfully, I woke up from this dream before Martha had a chace to chastise me.

I just had a dream like that, and I woke up nearly in tears. I dreamt that I was sent to another country for my job -- I was back in the military and was being sent to a new base. I was excited to go, and had completed the paperwork and I was instantly there in my new home. But then I realized that I was scheduled for some important medical tests (which is true) and because I was living in another country, I would miss them. I couldn't reschedule, and I kept remembering all these things I was supposed to do, but had forgotten. I was so stressed in the dream that I kept waking every so often and falling asleep. In the end, in real life, I overslept and was an hour late for work.

What an awful dream! Was it the kind where you sortta knew you were dreaming and wished it would STOP?
