Terry Matlen's Informal Florida ADHD Diagnostic Criteria (FADC)

Your forehead, nose and knee are red, not from sunburn, but from repeatedly walking into the glass door in your hotel room that looks out onto the Gulf of Mexico
You've gone to the drugstore every day while on vacation because you keep forgetting to buy shaving cream and you leave the store....without the shaving cream
You wonder why people are staring at you, until you realize that- once again- you've forgotten to put sunscreen on the middle of your forhead and you look like a walking bullseye
You absolutely have no clue in the world what day it is because you don't have access to your calendar or day planner
You can't decide if you're having a blast or are bored to death
The concept of unstructured time begins to sound like a nightmare, not a vacation
You don't cook for 7 days and for the first time in your life, don't feel guilty about it
You know that your piles are temporary- an amazing concept
You actually read a book from cover to cover...only because you didn't bring more than one book on vacation with you
